About DNA
Mission and vision
DNA stands for embracing and promoting diversity and inclusion within Albert Heijn, Etos, Gall & Gall, and Ahold Delhaize, with a focus on being yourself and having fun together. Diversity should receive the attention it deserves within the organization. DNA aims to bring together colleagues with an affinity for diversity and inclusion, whether from their own background or out of interest, and to build a network that contributes to connection, understanding, and inclusion. Additionally, our network serves as a sounding board for our organization, where the opinion of every DNA member counts. Our community provides input on various issues, such as promoting diversity at the headquarters, shaping the halal product assortment, and reflecting on different religious holidays. As a DNA member, your input is incredibly valuable! We organize fun and educational events, such as celebrating religious holidays, events where knowledge and experiences are shared, and informal gatherings/activities to get to know each other better.
